Sharp Objects - Gillian Flynn Trigger warning! Self-harm, a lot of disturbing behavior etc.

It was pretty obvious who was the killer even from the begging. I don't understand why it took them so long to figure it out.
This family was dysfunctional, and disturbing and if I was that nurse, I would send social service to keep an eye on the kids.
Unfortunately, 13 years old girls do act like that. They wear a lot of make up, they dress up inappropriately and they "do" thing with boys.
This book was dark and twisted. That is not the reason why I didn't like it. I just felt like a lot of things could could have been stopped. The third killed girl, for example.
